Our glass bottles are recyclable once separated from the sprayers, caps and labels. The FSC Mix paper cartons (50 ML and 8 ML bottles), bottle labels, paper envelopes (Discovery Set) and corrugated carton insert (50 ML bottles) are also recyclable.

We use USA-made SDA 40B 190-proof ethanol produced by fermentation from cereal grain, primarily corn. All grain used in the process is procured from US sources.  

Yes, all our fragrances are vegan and cruelty-free. We only use safe synthetic interpretations of traditionally animal-derived notes like musk. Furthermore, neither our finished perfumes nor raw ingredients are tested on animals. 

We understand that the absence of a unified definition of "clean" for cosmetics can leave consumers confused. Here is how we at EMMOTIV define "clean" and what this means for your fragrance experience:  

> CLEAN INGREDIENTS: Our fragrances are free of phthalates, parabens, sulfates, formaldehyde, polycyclic musks, nitro musks and other potentially toxic or endocrine disrupting ingredients, in line with the strictest market definition of clean. 

> FREE OF COLORANTS & UV INHIBITORS: This means the color of our perfumes may shift slightly over time.

> VEGAN: We only use safe synthetic interpretations of traditionally animal-derived notes like musk. 

> CRUELTY-FREE: Neither our finished perfumes nor raw ingredients are ever tested on animals. 

> EU COMPLIANT: We comply with European Union regulation, which currently bans 1,300+ ingredients. 

> IFRA COMPLIANT: All our perfumes follow the International Fragrance Association's guidelines regarding the safe use of fragrance ingredients. 

> FRAGRANCE TRANSPARENCY: We proudly disclose the ingredients that make up our fragrance oils – a mix of natural extracts and safe synthetics masterfully blended to elevate your mood.

For example, when you see the words "Fragrance (Parfum)" on an ingredient list, the phrase often reflects blends of dozens (and sometimes hundreds) of different ingredients.

We are proud to be one of the very few brands to disclose the unique ingredients in our fragrance oils (present in our Eaux de Parfum at 20% concentration) — a mix of botanical extracts and safe synthetics masterfully blended to elevate your mood.
